I stayed at the Grand Oasis, it was an absolutely beautiful hotel. The only thing is that..there are three buildings, they have a rule that no one under the age of 25 can stay in the main center building which when you first get there you want to b.c there is a rainforest in the middle of the place and it is beautiful…but the other buildings are just as nice…they have amazing restaurants to choose from, the largest pool in all of central america, direct access to the beach and they have a club in the hotel…if you want to go out of the resort to another club theres a bus to take you. also, they have a connection with two other hotels that you can take the bus to if you want to use their restaurants or facilities, etc. there are bars EVERYWHERE in the place too…2 in the pool and ones in the lobby, they even have people who bring you drinks while you lay on the beach, it really was a gorgeous time…The Grand Oasis…good luck!
Dont worry about the hotels in Cancun. Most of them are near the clubs area, scattered over the main boulevard. Try to find one that faces the ocean, not the lake. I have been there several times with friends, and I have stayed in a lot of hotels but i really enjoyed going to Royal Solaris. Ive been there three times.
We stayed at Aventura Spa Palace this last August. It was really great with good food. Tours to all the main sites is included in the price. We stayed for 11 days for about 3100.00 for two of us.
We wanted adults only, but understand all the Palace resorts are great.
If you like snorkeling check out the Mayan adventure. You get to snorkeling in three places, the mouth of a river to the ocean, in a small cave, a creote(a collasped cave) where you jump in from 12 feet up. It was fantastic.
I just got back from Blue Bay Gateaway. That is over 21 Adult only hotel. Yea right, name says it all.
Spring break, going with ur friends, in college. I would def recommand going there. You will gurantee get some, if that is what in your mind during spring break. Otherwise, go somewhere else.
